Hi, I’m Rosie. I’m proud to have joined the Harambee Doula Care community in the Summer of 2026. I came to this work because I believe birth and the months around it do not need to be so isolating. Families deserve support that is respectful and shaped around what matters to them.
My role is to help clients feel informed and steady in their own choices. I can help prepare questions for appointments, talk through options, and make birth or postpartum plans. At the center of my work is making sure your voice and preferences stay clear.
I also strive to support the people around my clients. Partners, family members, and friends often want to help but may not know what is useful in the moment. My goal is for the whole team to feel more prepared and present.
Before training as a doula, I worked in community and political organizing. That work taught me how to listen closely, manage details, and support people through complicated moments. I bring those skills, along with my experience as a mother, into my doula work. I graduated from UW-Madison with a BA in Political Science.
