Community Give Back Scholarship Option ($500): this option includes the complete training program in addition to a minimum active commitment of two years along with ongoing training, staff meetings, reflective supervision, volunteer opportunities and completing surveys, as well as dedicating your talents toward events that help reach Harambee's goals. You will be expected to serve as a Community-Based Doula in Harambee's Community-Based Doula Programming for two years from starting your training. As such, you will have access to shadowing and mentorship from Harambee faculty for the 3 births needed to complete your certification program. Harambee will provide families for your 3 births, and you will be compensated as a doula in training for each family. This also includes a two-year membership to HDCHS support network.
